R. L. Stine

R. L. Stine is an American novelist, often referred to as the "Stephen King" of kids literature. His work spans several series, including Goosebumps, Fear Street, Rotten School, Mostly Ghostly, and The Nightmare Room, along with work in television and film. 

Some of his other works include a Space Cadets trilogy, two Hark gamebooks, and dozens of joke books. Stine's books have sold over 400 million copies.
